This week, we are focusing on things that come in two.
I have to admit that I'm really drawing a blank on this one. Enlightened inspiration is escaping me. All that comes to mind are things like shoes, socks, earrings, boots, gloves, mittens, legs, arms, ears, eyes, slippers, and hands.
Well, wait a minute...now that the brain is starting to work a bit, I can think of a few other things too...skis, skates, chopsticks, headlights, cuff links, contacts, lungs, knitting needles and windshield wipers too. I needed those windshield wipers this morning, it's raining outside.
I had to make an early morning trip to Shoppers Drug Mart to buy cat food. The poor little darlings were going to STARVE to death any minute! At least that is the impression that I was getting from their pitiful cries. Never mind that there were two bowls full of dry kibble in front of them, WE WANT WET FOOD. *smile*
It then occurred to me that, first thing every morning, these two cats show up at 6 a.m. to chant the 'hunger song'. They are always together and singing in unison. So, here is my 'two'...
To check out what comes in two for the other participants, see the links below...
It's always about "the food", isn't it? :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it's ALWAYS about the food. They are so cute though, how could I resist them?
DeleteHow could you resist those beauties??
ReplyDeleteYou're right, I cannot resist them. Even though they hardly know I exist except at feeding time, I still love them like crazy.
DeleteSo cute. Two peas in a pod, and always hungry.
ReplyDeleteYou can clearly see that they are not as bad off as they think they are. LOL They bring a lot of joy into my days.
DeleteMy grey one comes and sharpens his claws on my thigh if I'm on the computer at 4pm... he wants me to come into the kitchen and watch him eat! But yes if they think the scoop is coming to the bottom of the cuket they start getting distressed!
ReplyDeleteMy cats always inform me when it's bedtime too. They couldn't possibly get a good sleep if I'm not in bed too, right? I think they just want to get me into bed so they can get into mischief.
DeleteIt is the duty of our cats to keep us humble, Bonnie (I know mine take on this job with relish LOL).
ReplyDeleteCats help us focus on the important things, like food. *smile*
DeleteAww kittehs! God forbid someone says the word "cookie" in our house the dogs go nuts!...you might even get trampled lol
ReplyDeleteYou will have to try spelling it, instead of saying it. Unlike children, they won't eventually learn how to spell.
DeleteWhat wonderful cats! I almost used my brother and sister pair, but it seemed like my blog might be cat heavy!
ReplyDeleteThey are a delightful pair of companions. You should have posted your pair too.
DeleteOh they are cuties. Only one of my pair of cats sings for their breakfast. The other ones just comes running when I open the door.
ReplyDeleteEver since I got Rudy (the grey cat), he's mimicked everything that Minoux (the brown tabby) does. He really is a copy cat.
DeleteLove your fur babies!
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable, aren't they? *smile*
DeleteOur furry families do keep us on our toes, and when there are two, well that just means twice the love.
ReplyDeleteTwice as much love, but twice as much mischief too. LOL
DeleteYour cats are a cute pair. That reminds me my cat needs to be fed.
ReplyDeleteYep, I did the same thing with my dogs, they're like frik and frak everywhere together.
